PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for protecting a secondary battery which can generate two test signals in the device without adding a new terminal, and a battery pack incorporating the same and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device for protecting a secondary battery 1, which protects the secondary battery 21 by detecting the over-charge, over-discharge, charging overcurrent, discharging overcurrent or short-circuited current of the secondary battery, includes a current detecting terminal V-, which converts the charge current to minus voltage during charging and to plus voltage during discharging relative to the negative electrode potential (grounding potential) of the secondary battery to detect the charge/discharge currents, and with a test signal generating circuit 8, which generate a first test signal when the voltage of the current detecting terminal V- is reduced to the first negative voltage not normally generated and generates a second test signal when the voltage of the current detecting terminal V- is reduced to the second negative voltage further lower than the first negative voltage, wherein one of both test signals is used as a signal for shortening the delay time generated in a delay circuit during testing the device and the other test signal is used as a signal for testing the delay circuit.
