PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus which enables an image to be formed on diverse recording media, whether an impermeable medium or a permeable one. SOLUTION: This recording apparatus comprises: an intermediate transfer drum 10; a solution supply device 12 which forms a layer 12B to be cured, formed of a curable solution 12A, by supplying the curable solution 12A, containing a resin capable of being cured by a stimulus (energy) from the outside, onto the intermediate transfer drum 10; an inkjet recording head 14 which forms the image T by ejecting an ink droplet 14A onto the layer 12B; a transfer device 16 which transfers the layer 12B with the formed image T onto the recording medium P by making the recording medium P overlap the intermediate transfer drum 10 and applying pressure; and a stimulus supply device 18 which supplies the stimulus for curing the layer 12B transferred onto the recording medium P.
