PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet including a footrest not to be obstructive even when it is not used in a riser part. SOLUTION: For the cabinet 1, a storage part 5 is formed above a bottom plate 4 and a riser plate 7 is provided at a position backward from the front surface of the storage part 5 below the bottom plate 4. A recessed part 11 recessed to the back side is formed at the front surface part 8 of the riser plate 7, and the footrest 13 is rotatably attached to the recessed part 11. When the footrest 13 is rotated upwards and flipped up, the footrest 13 is housed inside the recessed part 11. The back surface 15 of the footrest to appear when the footrest is rotated upwards and flipped up is formed of a decorative material having a design the same as that of the riser plate 7.
