PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of rationally improving quality and further improving usability and productivity by improving an assembling constitution of a partitioning wall for partitioning storage compartments and a cooling duct. SOLUTION: A refrigerating compartment 204, a selective compartment 205, an ice making compartment 206, a vegetable compartment 207 and a freezing compartment 208 are successively defined from an uppermost portion in a heat insulating housing 201, joining structures of a second partitioning wall 217 and a third partitioning wall 222 partitioning the selective compartment 205 and the ice making compartment 206, and the vegetable compartment 207 or the refrigerating compartment 204, and a second cooling duct 220 disposed at an indoor rear part of the selective compartment 205 and the ice making compartment 206 are integrated in advance, and a foamed heat insulation 201a of the heat insulating housing is foamed and charged, thus the sealing performance of the inside of the selective compartment 205 and the ice making compartment 206 can be remarkably improved, and the quality can be stabilized. As a cooling function component such as a damper device 221 is not incorporated from an indoor side, but incorporated from an outdoor side, and its indoor height can be compressed to storage purpose necessity minimum, a height space can be created to improve usability.
