PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the environment in the contemporary society is in a situation such that generates excess amount of active oxygen in a human body due to air polluting gases, exhaust gases from automobiles, agricultural chemicals, food additives, radio waves, ultrasonic waves, stresses, alcohol, cigarettes, etc., because human beings cannot maintain good health, if the active oxygen generated in the human body exists excessively in it. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a blower for sucking and blowing out air, an indoor machine main body incorporating the blower and having a blow-out port for blowing out the air fed from the blower to the outside, a holding element provided in the indoor machine body to hold the substance having antioxidant action, provided with a taking-out part provided in the body, to take out through a taking-out port normally closed by a lid, and provided on a side-face side where a motor for driving the blower in the indoor machine main body does not exist to insert, attach, and detach the removing part through the taking-out port, and a heating means coming into contact with the holding element and heating it or heating it through air to promote release of the substances, having the antioxidant action.
