PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening prevention device which facilitates locking of double swinging doors by sliding and rotating a latch plate. SOLUTION: The door opening prevention device has a latch member 2 fixed to one of the doors 21, a support member 3 fixed to the other door 22, and the latch plate 1 supported by the support member in a vertically slidable and rotatable manner. When the latch member 2 and the support member 3 assume in a fixed state, by sliding and rotating the latch plate 1, an engaging claw 8a formed on the latch plate 1 engages with an engaging claw 8b formed on the latch member 2, and thus the doors 21, 22 are held in a locking state.
