The heating body has collecting line pipes (1) and horizontal heat pipes (2), where the heat pipes are connected with the collecting line pipes over connecting sections (3). The collecting line pipes have recesses in an area of the connecting sections. The recesses are dimensioned such that the recesses accommodate 25 to 50 percentage of pipe circumference of the heat pipes. The collecting line pipes are formed as rectangle pipes. The heat pipes have openings in the area of the connecting sections for hot-fluid guidingly connecting the heat pipes and the line pipes. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heating body.
