摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical cross-connecting device comprising a small number of components while improving uniformity of insertion loss of each optical path. <P>SOLUTION: The optical cross-connecting device includes an optical switch which has optical input ports, optical output ports, and MEMS (Micro Electric Mechanical System) mirrors, and cross-connects the respective optical input ports and the respective optical output ports through optical paths passing through the MEMS mirrors, and a control unit which switches the optical paths of the optical switch and also controls positions of the respective MEMS mirrors so that variance in insertion loss among the respective optical paths due to the switching may become small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
