PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage device capable of facilitating installation/removal of a cable. SOLUTION: This is the energy storage device which is mounted on a vehicle body in a horizontal direction, and includes a battery module for storing electricity and a connection apparatus 13 for connecting the battery module with an external apparatus. The connection apparatus 13 includes a bar-shaped member 24 for fixing a terminal 26 disposed at a top end of the cable 51. The bar-shaped member 24 is disposed so as to face the outer side of the connection apparatus 13. The bar-shaped member 24 is disposed so that a direction extending to the horizontal direction may be inclined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
