PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of connecting simply and easily without losing electrical conduction even under a severe environment. SOLUTION: A female housing 200 is engaged with a male housing 400 in an electric connector 100. The female housing 200 has a guide groove 210 formed in perpendicular direction to insertion engagement direction of the male housing 400, and a hooking metal fitting 300 is installed in the guide groove 210. Furthermore, an aperture 222 is formed in the guide groove 210 of the female housing 200, and a hooking part 315 of the hooking metal fitting 300 is installed capable of protruding toward the male housing 400. When the male housing 400 is inserted into the female housing 200, the hooking part 315 protrudes to the male housing 400 side from the aperture 222 of the female housing 200.
