PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin retaining/dispensing apparatus to easily take out a coin dispensing device without increasing the size and cost of the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the coin retaining/dispensing apparatus, the dispensing device for dispensing coins dropped due to gravity from a retaining device for retaining the coins in a bulk state is positioned under the retaining device. A partition device to drop the coins from the retaining device to the dispensing device according to the amount of coins retained in the dispensing device is positioned between the retaining device and the dispensing device.
