PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a filter for a fan heater having superior air cleaning performance and durability to simultaneously remove odor of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, acetic acid, acetaldehyde and the like, house dust and impurities generated by combustion. SOLUTION: A pre-filter for mechanically removing large dust, and a honeycomb or corrugated filter composed of activated carbon mixed-paper holding metallic phthalocyanine complex and alkalescent metallic salt thereon, are prepared and combined with each other, thus the filter capable of efficiently decomposing and cleaning a foul-smelling gas which may exist in the air in various rooms can be inexpensively provided.
