The microscope has an image beam path (16) extending from an object to a detector and/or to a tube, where the path has an imaging optics e.g. wide field-imaging optics. Deflection units (23, 24) are provided in the image beam path, where a part of the image light is deflected in a direction (25) by the deflection unit (23) and another part of the image light is deflected in a direction (26) by the deflection unit (24). The image light deflected by the deflection units is simultaneously detected by a detection device (27). An independent claim is also included for an optical arrangement attached into an optical path of a microscope.
