<p>Even in a case of, while adhering to an existing network, enhancing the speed of the channels of some part thereof, communication can be successfully performed with no degradation of reception sensitivity in those speed-enhanced channels. An ONU (300) comprises a CDR (320) that reproduces, as a signal having a bit rate B (where B is A multiplied by M), a waveform transmitted through a channel; a signal converting part (330) that converts, based on a majority rule decision, the signal as reproduced by the CDR (320) to a management signal; and a timing control part (350) that controls, based on the management signal as converted by the signal converting part (330), the timing of acquiring a data signal addressed to the ONU.</p> |
