A connector assembly, a receptacle type connector, and an interface apparatus are provided to improve the generality of the connector assembly, by using plural types of cable-sided connectors included in the connector assembly. A connector assembly is configured to connect an electrical cable(7) to a test head electrically. The connector assembly comprises plural types of cable-sided connectors(8), which are respectively attached to one end of the electrical cable, and an intermediate connector(6), to which the cable-sided connectors are detachably connected. The intermediate connector has a first joining part(601) having a shape to which all types of cable-side connectors is joined, and an output terminal(602), which is joinable to a test head-sided connector(41) electrically connected to a pin electronics board of the test head.
