摘要 A catalyst for converting hydrocarbons comprises l-60wt% zeolite mixture, 5-99wt% refractory inorganic oxide and 0-70wt% clay, based on the total wei ght of the catalyst. It is characterized in that the zeolite mixture include s l-75wt% beta zeolite modified by phosphorus and transition metal M, 25-99w t% zeolite with MFI structure and 0-74wt% large pore size zeolite based on t he total weight of the zeolite mixture. The anhydrous composition of the bet a zeolite modified by phosphorus and transition metal M expressed as a weigh t percentage based on oxide is given by: (0-0.3) Na2O-(O-S-IO) Al2O3 (1.3-10 ) P2O5-(0.7-15) MxO/(64-97) SiO2, wherein M is selected from the group consi sting of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Mh, Zn and Sn, x represents the molecular number of M, y represents the number needed for the oxidation state of M. The catalys t of this invention has enhanced conversion ability of hydrocarbons, and inc reased yield of low carbon olefins, especially increased yield of propylene. The catalyst of this invention can be used in catalytic cracking process of hydrocarbons to produce low carbon olefins.
