<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing/cleaning simultaneous type image forming apparatus which forms a high-quality image by restraining faulty electrification by an electrifying part and faulty exposure by an exposure part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: a first toner collecting/discharging amount control member 6A that is a brush rotating member to which DC bias having a reverse polarity to the electrification polarity of toner is applied; a second toner collecting/discharging amount control member 6B that is a brush member to which DC bias having the same polarity as the electrification polarity of toner is applied; and a toner electrification amount control member 7 that is a foamed elastic body member which adjusts the electrification amount of the toner to have a normal electrification polarity. The first toner collecting/discharging amount control member 6A and the second toner collecting/discharging amount control member 6B have a toner collecting function and a toner discharging function, and adjust the amount of toner on a photoreceptor drum 2 to be equal to or under a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
