<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity sensor that surely cancels error signals generated in output signal, when excessive impact is given to a vibrator. <P>SOLUTION: In this angular velocity sensor, a phase shifter 31 is provided with an amplitude attenuation means, comprising a changeover switch changing over between resistance values of first and second injection resistances in the phase shifter 31, to attenuate the amplitude of an output signal from a differential amplifier 29.
