<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect sandwiching even when the level of a signal to be inputted to a comparison determination circuit is drifted, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A sandwiching detecting apparatus 10 includes: a piezoelectric element 8 attached to a slide door; and a comparing device 11 for processing the output signal of the piezoelectric element 8. The comparing device 11 generates a comparison object waveform LS by amplifying the signal from the piezoelectric element 8 with the use of an amplifier circuit 21, generates a reference signal DS, which is obtained by removing a high frequency component from the comparison object waveform LS with the use of a low-pass filter 22, and first and second change thresholds HR, LR to be changed in response to the comparison object waveform LS from first and second fixed thresholds R1, R2, and then, compares the thresholds HR, LR with the comparison object waveform LS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
