<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the entire device and a manufacturing cost substantially by employing a minimum structure to perform a general jaw treatment in a clinical scene with the consideration of safety. <P>SOLUTION: A device 10 for jaw movement comprises an upper jaw mouthpiece M1 and a lower jaw mouthpiece M2 mounted inside an oral cavity of a patient P, a movable supporting unit 20 for supporting the lower jaw mouthpiece M2, and actuators 24, 53 for operating the movable supporting unit 20 in a manner that the lower jaw mouthpiece M2 moves in a direction where a jaw opens and closes or in backward and forward directions.
