PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively manufacture a continuous plastic bag in which a plurality of plastic bags with "a carrying handle portion" or "a binding portion" range in a strip shape. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for the continuous plastic bag 10, a tubular plastic sheet 28 is thermally welded in a partially linear shape in the width direction, so that a weld 18b constituting an upper end of the carrying handle portion 18 can be formed. The tubular plastic sheet 28 is thermally welded in a linear shape throughout the width-direction length, so that a bag bottom 16 can be formed. Subsequently, both width-direction side ends of the tubular plastic sheet 28 are folded back on the surface of the tubular plastic sheet 28, and a side edge of a folded portion 28a is arranged along a width-direction side edge of the tubular plastic sheet 28. Both the width-direction side edges of the tubular plastic sheet 28 and the side edge of the folded portion 28a are partially punched out, so that a hand through hole A of the carrying handle portion 18 can be formed.
