PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless USB adapter, a data processor and a communication method by which initial setting of wireless USB communication is simply performed and data transmission is safely established. SOLUTION: The wireless USB adapter has a DWA driver (20) for performing wireless USB communication of data from external equipment connected to USB connectors (24, 28, 32) and a first near wireless communication means (19) for performing NFC communication, performs communication setting for executing encryption data communication with the data processor using the near wireless communication means (19) and executes the encryption data communication using a wireless USB protocol. The data processor 14 has a HWA driver (20) for performing the wireless USB communication and a second near wireless communication means (37) and performs communication setting for executing the encryption data communication with the data processor using the near wireless communication means (37).
