PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube device capable of achieving adjustment of a focal position by a simple method. SOLUTION: This X-ray tube device is provided with: an X-ray tube equipped with a negative electrode 1 emitting thermions, a positive electrode 2 arranged oppositely to the negative electrode 1, and including a target 4 forming a focal point emitting an X-ray by receiving the thermions on the facing surface, and an envelope 3 for enclosing the negative electrode 1 and the positive electrode 2 therein in a vacuum airtight state; and an X-ray tube vessel 5 housing the X-ray tube by immersing it in insulation oil. In the X-ray tube device, at least a part of the X-ray tube vessel 5 is formed of a magnetic material; a deflection coil 7 forming a deflection magnetic field deflecting the thermions is arranged on the inside surface of the X-ray tube vessel 5; and a deflection coil power source 11 is provided to deflect the thermions emitted from the negative electrode 1 to a deflection magnetic field generation means by the deflection coil 7.
