PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumping post fence superior even in the safety aspect, without being push-bent by snow removing work even in an installed state, without requiring to remove the bumping post fence or its member even in winter. SOLUTION: This bumping post fence 1 uses a fence body 5 composed of a horizontal sash bar 2 and two columns 3a and 3b suspended from its both ends, two cylindrical bodies 6a and 6b respectively liftably containing the two columns 3a and 3b, two bar-shaped clamps 7a and 7b locking the fence body 5 on the two cylindrical bodies 6a and 6b and a chain 8 extended between substantially intermediate positions of the aboveground projection height of the two columns 3a and 3b, as a main component; and is constituted by arranging clamp insertion holes 10a and 10b for inserting the bar-shaped clamps 7a and 7b in the upper end vicinity of the cylindrical bodies 6a and 6b, and arranging an ordinary time clamp insertion hole 11 allowing a straight line of connecting two to pass through the center of a circular cross section in the column 3.
