PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powder detergent composition exhibiting excellent detergency even to dust control products having persistent stains such as dust, oil, mud, etc. SOLUTION: The powder detergent composition comprises (A) 5-20 wt.% of an ethylene oxide single addition type or ethylene oxide and propylene oxide addition type nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10-12, (B) 1-10 wt.% of an anionic surfactant and (C) 70-94 wt.% of the total of three components of an inorganic phosphate (C1), a crystalline silicate (C2) and a carbonate (C3). The amounts of the three components are 20-55 parts by wt. of (C1), 10-45 parts by wt. of (C2) and 10-70 parts by wt. of (C3) based on 100 parts by wt. of the total of the three components.
