<p>The present invention relates to a composition suitable for coating an ink jet recording sheet. The composition includes a slurry of pigment particles in a liquid medium and a binder wherein the composition, as an ink-receiving formulation may provide a viscosity of about 1- 10,000 centipoise. The recording sheet may then exhibit improved printing properties with respect to variables such as color richness (gamut), L*min, and visual gloss.</p> |
