The portable computer comprises two parts, where a part (22) comprises a display (10), keys (12), a mother board and a power supply and other part (20) comprises a keyboard (14) and a writing format, assigned to other keys. The keyboard is provided with a hinge, which enables a deviation of the keyboard from a working position into a stationary position. In the working position the keyboard is located above the writing format. In the stationary position the keyboard is inserted in the writing format freely in the base of the latter part.
