The method involves determining the physical parameters for sound pressure level, rail acceleration, threshold acceleration, jerking in the underground and load specific physical parameters. An allocation takes place between the determined position of the rail or the combination of rail vehicles and the measured physical parameter. The determination of the position of the rail or the combination of rail vehicles on the rail takes place by detection of the individual rail vehicle axles. On the basis of the mentioned detection, a detection of train category or rail vehicle type takes place. An independent claim is also included for a method for the allocation of emissions.
