<p>The invention relates to a wide angle joint and a steering device for a vehicle using the wide angle joint, particularly a wide angle joint that is easier to manufacture and assemble than a universal joint and has a power transmission angle over 90° when it is bent, and a steering device using the wide angle joint for a vehicle. In order to increase an allowable power transmission angle more than 90°, a wide angle joint according to an embodiment of the invention includes: a driving rotary plate mounted at the end of the driving shaft; a plurality of first insertion holes formed through the driving rotary plate; a driven rotary shaft mounted at the end of the driven plate; a plurality of second insertion holes formed through the driven rotary plate; and links having bends curved at a predetermined angle, of which an end is slidably inserted into the first insertion holes and the other end is slidably inserted in the second insertion holes. A wide angle joint according to an embodiment of the invention and a steering device for a vehicle using the wide angle joint, not only have a large bending angle, but is easy to manufacture, assemble, mount, and maintain, and have high economical efficiency as compared with universal joints in the related art.</p> |
