<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved system and a method for removably attaching a dental positioning appliance. <P>SOLUTION: The improved system and the method are for removably attaching the dental positioning appliance 105 to the dental features of a patient during orthodontic treatment. The appliance 105 is preferable over conventional braces for its comfort, appearance, and easiness. The appliance 105 functions by applying force to specific surfaces of teeth or the dental feathers 103 as a cause for direct movement. However, the level of the force applied, or the type of movement, is usually dependent on the surface characteristics and the position of the dental features 103. This aspect is inadequate to provide a sufficient anchoring or to impart a considerable force on the teeth 103 to be repositioned.
