摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for an electro-optical device, the substrate to be used for an electro-optical device achieving high transmittance while reducing occurrence of a light leakage current in a TFT, and to provide the electro-optical device having the above substrate, and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate for the electro-optical device includes: pixel electrodes 9a arranged in a pixel pitch D1; a light shielding portion 500 having a first portion 510 along a Y direction and a second portion 520 along an X direction, and partitioning an opening region 9aa; and a TFT 30 having a channel region 1a', a data line side source/drain region 1d, a pixel electrode side source/drain region 1e, a data line side LDD region 1b and a pixel electrode side LDD region 1c. Further, the first portion 510 includes a main line portion 511 along the Y direction and an extended portion 512 extending in both sides from the portion of the main line portion 511 overlapping the pixel electrode side LDD region 1c, along the X direction. The pixel pitch D1 is 3.0 to 12.0μm, the width W1a of the main line portion and the width W2 of the second portion are 0.5 to 1.5μm, and the length L and the width W3 of the extended portion 512 are 0.8 to 3.5μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
