PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and an image processing method capable of balancing the loads of GPUs and suppressing the increase of power consumption and a circuit area. SOLUTION: The image processing system is provided with a central processing unit (CPU) 10 for executing software for generating a plurality of drawing commands by graphic data processing and GPUs 21, 22 for generating image drawing data of a plurality of divided areas of a picture in parallel by executing drawing processing based on the plurality of drawing commands; wherein the GPUs 21, 22 mutually dynamically change respective target areas.
