摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and a distance-measuring method, capable of photographing an image of an emitted light beam obtained from a subject irradiated with light, and of readily measuring the depth distance from the subject. SOLUTION: The image pickup device includes an irradiating section for irradiating a subject simultaneously with first irradiating light, having a first wavelength which has a first intensity distribution on a plane perpendicular to an optical axis and second irradiating light having second and third wavelengths different from the first wavelength, which has a second intensity distribution different from the first intensity distribution on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis; a spectroscopic section for optically splitting a first emitted light beam having the first wavelength, a second emitted light beam having the second wavelength, and a third emitted light beam having the third wavelength; and an imaging section and a light-intensity detecting section for photographing the images of and detecting the respective intensities; and a depth distance calculating section for calculating the depth distance from the subject, based on the respective intensities of the first, second, and third emitted light beams.
