PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to restore a network setting of a network device in which network setting is performed from a plurality of clients to a desired restoration point by simple operation and restore the network setting in a network setting operation unit shorter than its setting unit. SOLUTION: When it is estimated that a setting mistake is present in a network setting file F2, the network setting of a device 3 is returned to the state of a network setting file F1 earlier than the network setting file F2. When the network setting file F2 is updated without a setting mistake in network setting operations OPk to OPk+4, restoration of the operations is requested to the device 3 through a management server 2.
