PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stable liquid fluoropolyether-based rubber base compound whose finishing viscosity does not increase when compounded with a silica-base powder. SOLUTION: The method for producing a liquid fluoropolyether-based rubber base compound comprises kneading (A) 100 pts.mass linear fluoropolyether compound having viscosity of 5-100,000 mPa s at 23°C, at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule and perfluoroalkylether structure in the main chain, (B) 5.0-60 pts.mass silica-base powder whose silica particle surface is hydrophobicized with organochlorosilane, and having≥50 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area and≤0.2 mass% moisture content, as calculated from 120°C/2 h heating loss and (C) 0.1-5.0 pts.mass water per 100 pts.mass (B) ingredient and, then, kneading on conditions of heating and reduced pressure or conditions of heating and normal pressure.
