摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which measures a transmission sensitivity distribution with a high degree of precision and improves the quality of images. SOLUTION: After reference scans are performed for plural times by transmitting RF pulses from an RF transmission coil to vary a flip angle stepwise, a plurality of reference scan images are reconstructed to correspond to the respective reference scans performed for plural times. Then, after correction data are calculated by differentiating an average value of a pixel value in transition data from the transition data of the pixel value which shifts to correspond to the performance of the reference scan among the plurality of reconstructed reference scan images, a frequency spectrum is calculated by subjecting the correction data to high-speed Fourier transformation, and the transmission sensitivity distribution is created from the calculated frequency spectrum.
