PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector to be used for a helium leak tester which can be connected with sufficient airtightness, regardless of the kind of a communicating tube of an object to be inspected, and suppresses or prevents wear of a sealing ring. SOLUTION: The connector 1 for the helium leak tester whose hollow connector body connected to a gas conduit 21 for supplying and discharging a helium gas G through, is provided with a connecting tube section 3 freely-connectable to or -separable from the communicating tube 51 of the object 5 to be inspected, and the connecting tube 3 is composed of an interpolation tube 31 which extends from the connector body and is inserted into the communicating tube 51 of the object 5, a fitting-on sealing ring 32 which is freely fitted on the interpolation tube 31 and is put on the outside of the communicating tube 51 of the object 5, and a sandwiching means which freely collapses or releases the sealing ring 32 in the extending direction of the communicating tube 51 of the object 5.
