<p>A printed (6), removable glass-clear film (8) is applied onto the transparent surface (12). A scratch-resistant film (2) is then added. The printed film is coated with adhesive (10) on the side facing the surface (12). The scratch-resistant film is coated with adhesive (4) on the side facing the printed film. The adhesive (4, 10) is initially protected by a detachable film, which is removed before application. The scratch-resistant film is multilayered. Its thickness is preferably 150 mm. The scratch-resistant film is coated with adhesive on one side. It is removable from the protected surface without leaving residues. The printing is protected from repeating stressing, especially from being displaced by the mechanical stresses of application. The printing is immediately under the adhesive, between multiple layers of the film, or on the glass itself. The glass-clear surfaces are those of windows and doors in public transport.
