The couch unit has a fixed stable core made of an expanded plastic slab. A lower side of the unit forms a support body (2), which is made of flexible foam. The coach unit is wedged by a flexible foam unit (4) during closing a door, where the foam unit is attached to front sides and is required for optimal function. A shape of the coach unit is adapted to a contour of a passenger compartment, and height of the unit is selected such that a maximum length (7) of a driver-to-front seat passenger pane (8) is used. The unit is covered with a cover (5).
