A method for manufacturing a roasting stone plate having a metal rim is provided to form a roasting stone plate in an elliptical shape rather than a circular shape. A method for manufacturing a roasting stone plate includes the steps of: processing the outer periphery of a stone plate(30) into an ellipse; processing upper and lower molds(10,20) for a metal rim of the stone plate; gradually heating the stone plate to the melting point of metal which is material to the metal rim; placing the heated stone plate between the upper and lower molds; and cooling the stone plate to obtain a roasting stone plate with a metal rim. |
