FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly to protect ground dam slopes against wave flows. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises monolithic reinforced concrete covering and rows of wave absorbing members made of alternating semi-oval and wedge-like parts laid within row limits. Semi-oval parts have bases facing downwards. Wedge-like parts are arranged so that larger bases thereof face upwards and define flow-impinging channels along with semi-oval parts. The flow-impinging channels are curvilinear in plane view. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of wave energy damping due to possibility to use head-on wave absorption and wave absorption due to wave flow parts impingement. ^ 2 dwg
