<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the recording sensitivity (the optimum recording power) within a desired range without changing the film thickness of a recording layer or of other layers in the manufacturing process of an optical recording medium the recording layer of which consists mainly of oxide. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The manufacturing method of the optical recording medium comprises laminating at least the lower protective layer, the recording layer, the upper protective layer and the reflecting layer on a substrate in the order named or in its reverse order named, wherein when the recording layer of the optical recording medium the material of which consists mainly of oxide is formed by a sputtering method, the recording sensitivity of the optical recording medium is controlled by regulating the introducing amount of argon gas. (2) In this manufacturing method of the optical recording medium relating in (1), the recording layer is made of a Bi oxide or of the Bi oxide and the oxide of at least one element selected from the group consisting of B, Cu, Fe and Zn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
