<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymorphic crystal form of a novel triazinylaminostilbene. <P>SOLUTION: The polymorphic crystal form is that of a compound represented by formula (1) whose powder X-ray diffraction pattern in a state wherein the compound has a water content of 0% or more shows peaks at d-spacing unit of ca. 21.8, 11.0, and 7.3. The compound of formula (1) is useful as a detergent composition, and is prepared by reacting sodium 4,4-diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonate with cyanuric chloride in a solvent at a low temperature in pH 4-5, then adding morpholino, to convert the pH to 8.5-9.5, and after elevating the temperature of the solution, and finally cooling down the solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
