PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge that secures stable toner supplying property regardless of the amount of toner consumption and shows excellent fixing performance in an oil-less fixing process by heating and excellent image quality free from density unevenness or image stripes of an image on a recording member after fixed. SOLUTION: The image forming method includes a developing roller 40 and a supply roller 41 supplying toner to the developing roller and comprises forming an image by single component development, wherein the supply roller comprises polyurethane foam having a foamed portion and has a roller diameter of 5 to 12 mm and repulsive force of 100 to 400 g/mm, and the cell diameter Dc (μm) of the foamed portion and the volume average particle diameter Dt (μm) of the toner satisfy an expressions: 4≤Dt≤10 and 30Dt+50≤Dc≤30Dt+300.
