PATTERN GENERATING METHOD USING SELF-ORGANIZING MAP, ITS PROGRAM AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern generating method using a self-organizing map. SOLUTION: After learning the self-organizing map, a coupling factor between each neuron of a contention layer and one neuron of an input layer, and a signal of each neuron of the contention layer, are synthesized to obtain a signal of the one neuron of the input layer, and signals of all neurons of the input layer are obtained to generate a pattern of the input layer. The pattern of the input layer reflecting the signals of neurons of the input layer learned can thereby be generated using the self-organizing map. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
