PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently provide an image to be attached to electronic mail. SOLUTION: A mail preparation support server 13 supports the preparation of reply mail in response to reception mail from a certain transmission origin. At first, the communication terminal 11 transmits reception mail as the object of reply concerning a certain transmission origin and past reception mail to the mail preparation support server 13. In the mail preparation support server 13, when a mail acquisition part 20 acquires the reception mail as the object of reply and the past reception mail, a relation analyzing part 21 analyzes the text or attached image of the past reception mail, and judges a relationship between the user of communication terminal 11 and the user of the communication terminal of the origin of transmission, and an image retrieving part 24 retrieves the format of the reply mail and the candidate of the attached image based on the judgement result, and the retrieved candidate of the attached image is transmitted from a candidate transmission part 27 to the communication terminal 11.
