PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of restraining influence by an object arranged in front of a display surface to image display. SOLUTION: The projection system has a projection engine part 20 which projects light in accordance with an image signal, and a housing 11 in which the projection engine part 20 is housed. The housing 11 is attached to the periphery of a screen 12 equipped with the display surface S on which light from the projection engine part 20 is made incident, and the projection engine part 20 makes the light made incident on the display surface S advance along the display surface S.
