PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having small degradation in polarization characteristics and causing no change in color in a wet heat durability test and a dry heat durability test. SOLUTION: The polarizing plate provided with at least one or more layers formed by curing a high polymerizable resin composition on a polarizing element film formed by treating a hydrophilic high polymer adsorbing a dichroic dye and boric acid with a solution having pH of 1.0-6.0 has durability, particularly remarkably improved wet heat durability and does not cause the change in color even in a dry heat durable state. The polarizing plate having high transmittance, high contrast and high durability is obtained as the polarizing plate for liquid crystal display. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
