PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which prevents a discharging port from being blocked on the top surface of an installation table by an installation error, and also has a good usability in the packaging apparatus for which the discharging port is installed on the bottom surface side. SOLUTION: A receiving member having a receiving section which interrupts the falling direction of a package discharged from a discharging port is installed in a manner to extend downward from the bottom surface of a box body. The box body cannot be set unless the receiving member is prevented from interfering with the top surface of the installation table. Inevitably, the discharging port is prevented from being closed by the top surface of the installation table, and the installation error is prevented from occurring. Since the package falls on the receiving section, the package is prevented from being damaged even when a difference in the height between the top surface of the installation table and a floor surface is large.
