PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise apparatus for bicycle travel enabling a user to easily do an exercise on bicycle travel with a bicycle just put on a roller stand even if its wheel diameter or its distance between wheels varies. SOLUTION: The exercise apparatus consists of a roller stand A for receiving a front wheel 51 and a roller stand B for receiving a rear wheel 52. In the roller stand A, an anterior roller 10A1 and a posterior roller 10A5 are disposed higher than intermediate rollers 10A2, 10A3, 10A4 such that the front wheel 51 can not get over the anterior roller 10A1 or the posterior roller 10A5, and the intermediate roller 10A3 is driven by an electric motor 20A such that the front wheel 51 can rotate. Meanwhile, in the roller stand B, an anterior roller 10B1 and a posterior roller 10B6 are disposed higher than intermediate rollers 10B2, 10B3, 10B4 and 10B5 such that the rear wheel 52 can not get over the anterior roller 10B1 or the posterior roller 10B6, and the rear wheel 52 can be rotated by working pedals 53. The exercise on bicycle travel with the bicycle 50 self-supported can be performed by putting the bicycle 50 on the roller stand A and the roller stand B respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
